We are expanding our global team and we’re looking for a Business Development Representative to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), your main responsibility is to support the sales and business development efforts of a company. Your role is crucial in identifying and qualifying potential customers or clients, generating leads, and nurturing relationships to help the sales team convert prospects into customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach, to identify and qualify potential leads.
  • Qualifying Leads: Evaluating and assessing the suitability of leads based on predefined criteria and determining their level of interest and potential to become customers.
  • Data Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of leads, prospects, and interactions in the company’s CRM (we use Pipedrive! Customer Relationship Management) system.
  • Product/Service Presentation: Educating potential customers about the company’s products or services and explaining their features and benefits.
  • Relationship Building: Building and nurturing relationships with leads and prospects through regular follow-ups and communication to keep them engaged in the sales process.
  • Handover to Sales: Collaborating with the BDM team to pass on qualified leads and ensure a smooth transition of prospects from the BDR stage to the BDM stage.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to identify new potential markets, industry trends, and competitive insights to refine the lead generation strategy.
  • BDM Support: Assisting the BDM team in preparing sales materials, proposals, and presentations for potential clients.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitoring and analyzing key performance metrics, such as the number of qualified leads and conversion rates, to optimize the lead generation process.
  • Collaboration: Working closely with marketing, sales, and other teams to align efforts and ensure a consistent approach to business development.
  • Continuous Learning: Keeping up-to-date with industry knowledge, product updates, and sales techniques to improve performance and contribute to the company’s growth.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English
  • Qualify leads as sales opportunities.
  • Maintain and grow existing leads.
  • Drive sales growth and pipeline by setting up qualified meetings for Account Executives.
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Promote the company excellently to potential clients.
  • Identify client needs and suggest the appropriate products or services.
  • Build long-term and trusting relationships with clients.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Report to the Business Development Manager on a (weekly/monthly/quarterly) basis to discuss sales results.
  • Stay up-to-date with our company’s new products/services and market changes.
